Least to most dangerous personality types

16. ENFP

ENFPs are the least dangerous personality type. Enthusiastic, optimistic, and energetic, ENFPs are typically seen as harmless. They’re often too busy living in their own world to bother plotting harm against others. Whilst they can be scattered, impulsive, and a little irresponsible, they’re not usually dangerous. The only time an ENFP might become dangerous is if their idealism leads them down a dark path. Otherwise, they’re typically gentle and harmless souls.

15. ISFJ

ISFJs are one of the least dangerous personality types. ISFJs are known for being nurturing, compassionate, and reliable. They often put the needs of others above their own and they’re usually not impulsive or careless. Kind-hearted and gentle, you might struggle to find a dangerous ISFJ. They are very good at reading people though. So unhealthy ISFJs can be manipulative as they know how to get what they want from people. However, overall, ISFJs are not typically dangerous.

14. INFP

The third least dangerous personality type is INFP. INFPs are known for being idealistic, creative, and compassionate. While they may seem dreamy and disconnected from the world, they are not typically dangerous. In fact, they’re often gentle and kind-hearted. INFPs are known for their idealisms and they can be very idealistic to the point of naivety. These ideals taken to the extreme can mean they focus on the wrong this. Provided an INFP’s views of right and wrong are not warped, they are not very dangerous.

13. ESFP

ESFPs are the fourth least dangerous personality type. ESFPs are known for being fun-loving, outgoing, and charming. They love to be the center of attention and they’re usually not interested in anything too serious. On occasion, ESFPs can be impulsive and they base their decisions on their emotions. This can lead them to make some reckless decisions that could put themselves or others in danger. However, most ESFPs are not dangerous and they’re usually just looking for a good time.

12. INTP

INTPs are one of the least dangerous personality types. INTPs are known for being creative, curious, and independent. While INTPs may seem aloof and private, they’re usually not dangerous. In fact, they’re often quite gentle and harmless. However, unhealthy INTPs can be prone to isolating themselves and being direct and blunt to the point of rudeness. They can also be very critical and judgmental. While these qualities are not inherently dangerous, they can be if they’re taken to the extreme.

11. ISTJ

ISTJs are not typically dangerous. They are known for being practical, efficient, and reliable. They are usually not impulsive or careless. However, unhealthy ISTJs can be cold, insensitive, and inflexible. They can also be overly analytical and they may have a hard time seeing the emotional side of things. This can make them seem uncaring and even callous. While ISTJs are not typically dangerous, they can be if they’re not careful.

10. ESFJ

ESFJs are not typically dangerous. They are known for being helpful, compassionate, and outgoing. However, unhealthy ESFJs can be smothering, overbearing, and manipulative. In their quest to be needed, they can often take on too much and they can become over-involved in other people’s lives. This can lead to conflict and even heartbreak. ESFJs are also known for being very emotional. When this quality is taken to the extreme, it can make them unstable and even volatile.

9. ESTP

ESTPs are the ninth most dangerous personality type. ESTPs are known for being outgoing, active, and charming. But they do have the potential to be dangerous. They are often impulsive and they can be careless about the consequences of their actions. ESTPs are also known for being competitive and they can be ruthless in their pursuit of success. Unhealthy ESTPs can use these qualities to manipulate and control others. They can be callous, insensitive, and selfish. This makes them dangerous to both themselves and those around them.

8. ISFP

ISFPs are the eighth most dangerous personality type. ISFPs are known for being creative, spontaneous, and passionate. However, at the unhealthy end of the spectrum, they can be impulsive, reckless, and self-destructive. ISFPs often live in the moment and they can be careless about the future. This can lead them into dangerous situations that they’re not prepared for. ISFPs are also known for being sensitive and emotional. When these qualities are taken to the extreme, ISFPs can become unstable and even violent.

7. ENFJ

ENFJs are the seventh most dangerous personality type. Healthy ENFJs are known for being charismatic, compassionate, and kind-hearted. Whereas, Unhealthy ENFJs can be self-righteous, manipulative, and demanding. ENFJs are often natural leaders. However, they can use their charisma and powers of persuasion to get what they want, which might not always be a good thing. They’re also known for being very passionate about their beliefs and ideals, which can lead them down a dangerous path if they’re not careful.

6. ESTJ

ESTJs are the sixth most dangerous personality type. ESTJs are known for being practical, efficient, and assertive. They’re also natural-born leaders who like to take charge. While these qualities can be positive, they can also be negative when taken to the extreme. Unhealthy ESTJs can be autocratic, dictatorial, and inflexible. They can also be insensitive and unemotional. ESTJs often have a strong need for control, and they can be manipulative and domineering. They are working hard toward their goals and they will stop at nothing to get there.

5. ISTP

The fifth most dangerous personality type is ISTP. ISTPs are known for being independent, resourceful, and logical. They can be impulsive, violent, and destructive. ISTPs are also known for being thrill-seekers and they often take risks without thinking about the consequences. This can lead them into dangerous and even life-threatening situations. ISTPs are very private and aren’t overly emotional, but at the extreme end of the spectrum, it means they don’t feel any emotions or remorse for their actions.

4. ENTP

ENTPs are the fourth most dangerous personality type. ENTPs are known for being charming, quick-witted, and intelligent. They’re also natural debaters and love to play devil’s advocate, which can also mean arguing just for the sake of it. Unhealthy ENTPs can use these debating skills to manipulate and control others. They can be callous, insensitive, and selfish. ENTPs are also known for being risk-takers, which can lead them down a dangerous path if they’re not careful. The Joker from The Dark Knight is a prime example of a dangerous ENTP who likes to live on the edge.

3. ENTJ

The third most dangerous personality type is ENTJ. ENTJs are natural-born leaders. They’re decisive, assertive, and confident. However, when these qualities are taken to the extreme, ENTJs can become domineering and tyrannical. Unhealthy ENTJs need to have a deep desire for control and will stop at nothing to get it. They can be manipulative, self-serving, and ruthless. ENTJs are often 10 steps ahead of everyone else, which makes them powerful and dangerous enemies to have. Because of these characteristics, lots of villains are ENTJs like Lord Voldemort or Bane from The Dark Knight Rises.

2. INFJ

INFJs are the second most dangerous personality type. INFJs are highly adept at reading people, which is one of their greatest strengths. However, when used in an unhealthy way, this skill can be dangerous. INFJs can use their emotional intelligence to find peoples’ weaknesses and manipulate and control them. INFJs are also very idealistic, but these ideals might not always manifest in a healthy and positive way. Joe Goldberg from YOU is the perfect example of a dangerous INFJ in action.

1. INTJ

INTJs are the most dangerous personality type. INTJs are strategic, analytical, and intelligent. They are the ultimate masterminds. So when these skills are used in an unhealthy way, they can be dangerous. INTJs can be calculating and manipulative, and they won’t let anything or anyone come in the way of them achieving their goals. A lot of TV and movie villains are INTJs like Saruman from The Lord of The Rings, Maleficent, and Scar from The Lion King. They all use their cunning minds to outsmart their opponents.

So, which personality type is the most dangerous? Well, each personality type can be dangerous in their own way. It all depends on how healthy or unhealthy they are. An unhealthy INTJ has the potential to be the most dangerous. However, an unhealthy ENFP is to be feared more than a healthy INTJ. And remember, just because you’re a certain personality type, it doesn’t mean that you’ll exhibit the unhealthy traits described in this post!
