Introduction

We explore Bobby Fischer’s personality type, best personality matches, zodiac sign and Enneagram type.

Bobby Fischer was an American chess grandmaster. He won his first US championships at 14 and the World Championship in 1972 aged 29, beating the Russian Boris Spassky.

In 1975 he refused to defend his title as he disagreed with the match conditions, and subsequently disappeared from the public eye. In 1992 he reemerged to play Spassky in Yugoslavia against the US Government’s orders due to an embargo.

A warrant was issued for his arrest and rather than be imprisoned he lived in exile. In 2004 he was arrested in Japan for using a cancelled US passport. He eventually gained Icelandic citizenship and lived there until he died in 2008.
